Adnet Marble Village

The idyllic marble village of Adnet lies 484 metres above sea level in the Salzach Valley. In the midst of an impressive mountain panorama, a natural experience with rarity value awaits you. Adnet became famous worldwide because of its marble rock. The reddish marble can even be found in the Vatican! During a walk along the Marble Trail, you can experience the quarrying process up close. Unspoilt, expansive, seemingly boundless nature and yet only 20 kilometres from the world cultural city of Salzburg, which is well worth a visit. Ideal starting point for a variety of excursions in the immediate vicinity.

Experience alpacas in Adnet

Close to our farm you can go on a very special family hike.
The gentle alpacas originally come from South America and can be experienced up close in Adnet.

Marble Museum Adnet

There is no end to marble. Not only in rainy weather is the museum, newly opened in 2010, a spectacular destination! Only 230m away from us. The creation, processing, transport and different uses are presented in an educationally valuable way. Definitely worth a visit! Note opening hours. The Adnet Moss

Under the motto "Lots going on in the moss", a nature discovery trail was built in the protected landscape area of Adneter Moos, which starts directly behind our farm at the observation tower. The Adneter Moos covers an area of about 40 ha. We also have a field in this area and participate in the nature conservation measures. Ideal conditions for walking, hiking or even jogging. In winter, the 10km cross-country ski trail passes directly behind our stable.

Ochsenberg
 

The Ochsenberg - 1,487 m above sea level. A magnificent view of the Bavarian Alpine foothills, Upper Austria and Salzburg awaits you. In addition, there are the high mountains of the Northern Limestone Alps, the Tennen and Hagen Mountains, Hochkönig, Göll, Watzmann, Hochkalter, Reiter Alps, Untersberg and Hochstaufen.


Pupils from Adnet carried a bench and a signpost in individual parts to the lookout peak and assembled them there together.
